Barley Vine Featuring Local Art Squad Artists
Local business Barley Vine contacted Ginger about a partnership between the Art Squad and the restaurant. The idea was inspired by Bare Bones, which years ago gave Ginger the opportunity to put her own artwork on display. She was so excited to be a part of Bare Bones and Barley Vine before that she was eager to help coordinate Barley Vine's featured arts of the month for the year of 2016!
The first featured artists was art squad member Nigel Wynter. Nigel has been involved with the art squad since Operation: Storefront Art and since then has continue to be an active member and artist in the squad. Barley Vine hosted a Meet and Greet event for locals to come out and enjoy a bite to eat while admiring his artwork.
The evening was extremely successful. Not only did Nigel's work brighten up Barley Vine but he brought friends to Barley Vine that may not have visited before, therefore helping Barley Vine's business. Nigel had multiple pieces purchased including the first night his work went up!
