Operation: Traffic Box Featured Artist - Suzanne Godau

Suzanne Godau is a locally known artist with a talent and passion for oil paintings. mixed media and working with the light and elements found in nature. Godau has been involved in every art squad project and continues to be a postive leader in the squad.

During Operation: Storefront Art she shared with us that she believes "that there is nothing like beautiful, colorful art to breathe new life into a city and I believe that this is just what Bristol needs. I hope that my passion will play a part in the big beautiful heart of Bristol."

Godau was a perfect fit for the traffic box embodying Bristol's farms, animals and nature.

ART SQUAD

Mission Statement:

The “All  Heart” culture of Bristol is inspiring the formation of community  action groups (heart squads) to share a piece of their heart & passion, of  which the Art Squad is one!

We are a group of talented community artists who, like stealthy cultural ninjas, have joined forces to pepper the City with arts & culture and set the agenda on public arts projects.

With  the  City  firmly  behind  a  marketing  strategy  that  values  arts  and  culture,  we  now  have  the  opportunity  to  create   visible  arts  projects  that  highlight  the  inherent  awesomeness  of  art,  but  also  stimulates  economic  development, elevating our beloved City of All Heart,

Bristol, Connecticut!
