Operation: Storefront Art Wrap Party was a success!
This past Sunday, May 31st, 2015, the Art Squad's Operation: Storefront Art came to a close at Firefly Hollow Brewing, 139 Center Street. Individuals of all ages joined us to admire the All Heart pieces donated by each participating artist in Operation Storefront Art, check out the first original Bristol Art Squad T-Shirts printed locally by Ransom Ink, enjoy a refreshing locally brewed beer, and join the All Heart revolution!
Operation: Storefront Art was a project launched by the Art Squad in partnership with the Bristol Chamber of Commerce and talented artists to showcase the new All Heart culture of Bristol, beautify vacant storefronts and provide a chance to win an All Heart piece of artwork that embodied the artist’s interpretation of what All Heart in the community means to them. While the pieces were on display in vacant buildings around Bristol, and Firefly prior to the wrap up party, individuals were able to selfie with the All Heart pieces for a chance to win. Six lucky individuals won original pieces of artwork yesterday.
The lucky winners include: Ashley Frances Lodovico's Bristol Rising - The_Hunting_EMR (Instagram), Ginger Grant's Two Birds - Daniela Rivera (Facebook), Cat Boyce's Autumn in Bristol - Missy Mitchell (Twitter), Anna Mastropolo's Greatest Love - Bad Ablum (Instagram), James Gaffney's Filipino Pride - Kate Mae (Instagram), and Suzanne Godau's Tea Time - Dori Green (Facebook).
